About The Show
The Hermans are the worst kids in the history of the world-so when they crash Sunday school and demand parts in the Christmas pageant, the whole town panics! There is not supposed to be biting or cigar smoking in Bethlehem, and while these kids have never even heard the Christmas story, they definitely have rewrites! Soon, everyone is calling for reluctant director Grace Bradley to cancel the whole thing. It's up to the Bradley's and the Reverend to help their community see the Christmas story and the Herdman kids through new eyes in this buoyant musical adaptation of the funny and touching holiday classic.

Be sure to check out the character descriptions on the link below and learn about all the great roles in the show. There are plenty of roles for both adults and kids!
Audition Process and Preparation
Auditions will consist of a three-step process. In groups, you will be taught music and some light choreography. You will then present that to the audition panel. To help you prepare for auditions, we encourage you to review the character descriptions, listen and practice to the music, and complete an online audition form. After singing and dancing, your audition will be complete.
If more is needed, you will be called for a call back to do any type of solo work or reading. Do not worry if you are not called back, it means the panel have everything they need.
The group audition music and choreography, and lines (if applicable) will be provided at auditions, not ahead of time. This is a cold audition.
